Hello Gurus,
Is Demand Planning for KMAT materials any different from others?? If so, what could be the difference and how is is done..Please help...urgent....

There is no differene for KMAT or any thing in DP. It only looks for the CVC, it doesn't consider what values are type stored in the CVC.

As said by JS to u, there is no link of material type in APO.
you can have demand planning for any material type. There is no material type or product master in DP. its only CVC's.
material type comes in to pictures when the Demand plan is released as PIR to r/3.
