hi vijay,

You can export both design and configuration objects. this will create a separate *.tpz files for both objects on the XI Server.

Then you can re import this objects in another XI System.

This is one of the way to transport.

You can also refer these links

IR object:

right click on the Namespace which you want to send to Quality select the export optin and export it....this will create a .tpz file on the server following path

D:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\export\sample.tpz

this file will be copied by the BASIS and pasted in follwoing path

D:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\export\sample.tpz

similar procedure for directory

right click on the configuration scenarion in development which you want to send to Quality select the export optin and export it....this will create a .tpz file on the server following path

<b>\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\directory_server\export\sample.tpz</b>

then login to the IR of the quality select the tools--import option you will get this tpz file and import it and activate.

think these blogs will help you-

hi.

in both IR & Id go to Tools --> export objects.

this will give u a tpz file in the export folder of ur xi server.

in the prod/QA server go to the import directory of IR & ID and copy the respective tpz files. finally import into IR & ID client.

this is one way.

refer this:

Hi Vijay,

Export the namespace and the scenario as a .tpz file and import it in the production box.

Tools---->Import Design Object/Export Design Object.
