Hi All,
I would like to ask, if anybody does know the way how to automatically stop communication channel every half an hour (channel would be stopped only for 1-2 seconds). I have checked availability time planning, but it seems to me quite a lot of manual work in this particular case. Could you please advise.
thanx a lot

/people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2006/11/26/adapter-scheduling--hail-sp-19- - try availability time planning. it should help you out. That is the best standard solution available.

I have checked Availability planing option, but I reckon, that that option helps only when want to activate adapter/communication channel for certain period of time. Exept for that, there is no option to schedule stop/run every 30 minutes, so probably I will have to schedule one for each half hour, that means do it approx. 48 times. Thats a quite work.
Do you know whether there is a possibility of scheduling not start of adapter/channel but inverse action: stop running adapter/channel.
Thanx
Hi Michal
Other than the availablity planning....i dnt thnk we have other option, even in the visual amdin the file serverice cannot be scheduled the start and stop.......
might be you can write a batch file which will either rename the folder from which the file adapter is picking the data every 30 in once(not sure this works this)
