Using Eclipse plugins with Netweaver Developer Studio

Hello,

We're looking at plugin tools to help us do Struts, JSP and JSF development with NDS.

One we're looking at in particular is Exadel Studio Pro.

This brings up some questions:

1) Do plugins get installed the same way on NDS as they do on any Eclipse-based IDE?

2) How do I find out what version of Eclipse my version of NDS is running?

3) Does SAP have any documentation listing when they'll be upgrading NDS to latest release of Eclipse?

These are the some of the answers i know for your questions,

1) Do plugins get installed the same way on NDS as they do on any Eclipse-based IDE?

Ans:NWDS is built on Eclipse plotform, so plugins get installes similar to Eclipse based -IDE.

2) How do I find out what version of Eclipse my version of NDS is running?

Ans:while starting of your NWDS , you can see which version of IDE you are using, where as in NWDS->Help->About SAP NetWeaver devloper sturio -> clicl on Feature detials will give you the details you are looking for.

3) Does SAP have any documentation listing when they'll be upgrading NDS to latest release of Eclipse?

Till now i din't found any documentaion, if find one i will pass it you, but i came to know that SAP wil be releasing NWDS latest version of eclipse 3+ in 2006 or so.May be next release is WAS 7.0,EP7.0 etc
