Hi Experts,
I thought of copying a wage type from standard overtime wage type. But when i go to the transaction PU30, the standard wage types are not getting displayed. Unable to find the code for standard overtime wage type(Indian Payroll).
Can you tell me whether my understanding is right on overtime wage type -
Overtime wage does not included for ESI eligibility check but included in ESI calculation value.
Waiting for your inputs

Hi,
Let me put this query in different way -
What characterstics(processing or cumulation or evaluation) i have to define for a wage type so that it has to be considered for ESI valuation but not ESI elibility check.
Waiting for your suggestions
(ESI defintion: ESI Basis is the sum of basic salary, dearness allowance, all allowances and overtime. Overtime is excluded from ESI Basis for the calculation of ESI eligibility but is included for the computation of ESI contribution.)

Hi,
I mean from which SAP standard wage type i should copy for defining overtime wage type. So, that particular wage type should not be considered for ESI eligibilty chek but should be considered for ESI calculation value.
Your quick responses are highly appreciated and rewarded
Thanks
Siddardh
