BDC Slow update - urgent please

Hi All,

we are uploading 4lakhs of materials through BDC call transaction method with local update ( only error display), but its running very dead slow.per day only 10 thousands of records getting updated.

i have checked with asynchronous mode and session method also ,even though its very slow.

i'm using same bdc program for all the type of materials and plant,storage location extensions also

please give some immediate solutions to increase the updating speed...

Hi,

Why can't you use BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA.

Also change the BDC mode to N and try.

Hi atish,

thankyou for your reply.

but now i cant create a new program because this is go live period so havig lot of work.

in the Backround mode (N) its considering all simple messages as error so not updating

can you suggest some other for fast uploading
