Matching Strategy for Duplicate records

Hi Folks,

We have made matching strategy for duplicate records which is working fine,but when I am trying to make MS for flat lookup fields like Account group in transformation tab , We are not getting flat look up fields in the drop down list of fields . Please guide me if I am missing some important configuration and how to include this fields also in the drop down list.

Hi Rohit,

You can't run matching strategies on lookup tables. You can only run your MS on main table feilds.

Could you please little more specific why we can't run MS on lookup.

Hi Rohit

This is bcoz only the main table is available in Matching mode, and MDM automatically selects it when you change to Matching mode. So look up table fields are not available for matching strategies.
