Communicating with Functional Consultant

What Information should a XI Technical consultant need to gather from a Functional Consultant for Building Interfaces.

Hi,

Funtional Consultant will explain u the business logic and he will provide the Mapping sheet and data to test the interfaces.from XI point of view u dont need funtional consultant help much for only for mapping u need his help.In XI u have ABAP part to for that u have to take Funtional guy help.

Hi

Functional consultant will help us in unerstanding the Interface flow...how the data should come, in what format or if it is the iDOC then how many reords should be used to post an IDOC....from the Busniess point of view how often the tinterface should be triggered.....how to handle errors and the context of errors and so on.

Functional Consultant provide the business process flow and the type of data (format) that should flow between various systems. All thre requirements are Business Specific
