xRPM 4.0 Custom Error Messages

Hi

While checking custom attributes value in BADI 'RPM_PROJ_CUST_FIELDS' method 'ATTRIBUTE_MODIFY', if input value fails on certain checks, I need to throw custom error messages on xRPM screen.

Hi Experts ,

As per the scenario we need to validate the item data before saving the portfolio item . I am using badi RPM_PROJ_CUST_FIELDS with method IF_EX_RPM_PROJ_CUST_FIELDS~CUST_PROJ_PREPARE_TO_SAVE, when Validation is false, i am raising an exception with the error message, by which i can able to validate the data and transfer the message to portal frontend , But some how the system is giving an exception again when the validation is true.

Any idea!! Which part i am missing here. or is there any other way to achive this functionality .
