Hi All,
I had almost 80,000 records that to be send in a day from BW to Oracle by using proxy,
so how can i set them in a Packet size?
Where can i set the Packets?
How much i can set as Max size of Packet?
Points will be rewarded.
Thanks in Advance,
Sriram
Size of the packet (Record) is depends on number of fields available in record.
Also in XML message XML node name and node value is count.
You can set the package size while sending the message from the Outbound Proxy.
Message size is not fixed, its always depend on your server configuration.
You can try with 5000 or 10000 and try increasing and decreasing based on performance and system response.

hi
did u get any performance issues while sending 80,000 records from BW to Oracle?
so u want to send records through proxy communication as packets (like idoc).
i think it is not possible by using proxies.
if so plz update in sdn.
regards
pradeep.

variats looks better option as 80,000 is a good number of records which might be difficult to send considering the performance

Hi,
Since Proxy try to chunk the message in 5000 records in each block of time gap 30 sec and try to send it else try with variant.
