Dear Experts!
I am attempting to add an additional role to my appraisal template. I know there there is a role for Part Appraiser, Further Participant, Appraiser, Appraisee, Higher Level Manager....
We have the requirement that an HR Admin can view the templates and Approve the Final Appraisal Value given by the manager.
My idea was to use the HR Calibration page to allow for the HR Admins to view the appraisal template, but then I would like them to have the capability to select the pushbutton "Approve" so that the document would then be approved.
I am aware that in OOHAP_BASIC there is a choice for "Person Authorized" and I have attempted to add some new number values from the HR object table with types AC, TS, etc.
Any help would be great! Points will be rewarded!
Thank you,
Adam P.
Hi Adam,
You can add additional roles in OOHAP_BASIC.
Also dont forget to assign the Roles in the template and category.
Now after this in the status flow tab of the template, approval authorization has to be given to the HR Manager.
Also if you are planning to use Workflow for the same, you have to create a new Rule for the HR manager and assign the same in the OOHAP_BASIC tcode under 'Workflow authorized persons'.
Hope this helps you.

Thank you so much for all of your help,
I am still a bit stuck....
If you look at OOHAP_BASIC, there is a roles category, and for example a section for a role called "Mentor" ...I want to add a new role to my appraisal template, but it appears that there are custom tables that require me to input this new data. Do you have any documentation on adding roles to an appraisal template, so for example, if I want all higher level managers or HR Admins to be able to access the document in the role called "Mentor." I have attempted to add object type AC Rule to my appraisal document with the authorized person "HR Administrator."
thank you for your time,
Adam
Hi Adam.
Check the Badi 'HRHAP00_SELECTION', her you have to create a custom implementation for this Badi def. Give a new Filter value as 'HR Manager' or 'Mentor'.
Now you will have to copy one of the active implemenation's code to this badi implementation and then make corresponding changes to the Badi for HR Manager Role or Mentor Role.
The coding has to be done in the method 'GET_INFORMATION'.
After this you have to assign this Filter value in the OOHAP_BASIC Tcode for the corresponding Role.
Hope this helps you.
