Live Cache R/3 or Non-R/3 DB?

Is Live Cache a R/3 or Non-R/3 database?

This might be a very basic question but still I like to know the answer for this.

Hello Siva,

The SAP liveCache technology is an object-based enhancement of the MaxDB database system.

You can use SAP liveCache technology either as a normal relational database system, or as a main memory-based special database system.
