Hi,
I'm trying to determine if the kernel on an AIX machine is 32 or 64 bit, how can I determine that, using SM51 shows me the Kernel (46D_Ext) but does not ID a 32 or 64 bit version ??

Alternatively, use System -> Status to find out the platform ID of the SAP kernel (assuming you talk about that and not the AIX kernel). There used to be a note around platform-ids in use at SAP, all I found is from help.sap.com:
Platform
32-bit 64-bit
DEC-Alpha
- 288
HP-UX
272 273
RM600 (Reliant)
322 323
AIX
320 324
SUN
369 370
We are missing a few platforms here (Linux, Solarisx64), if somebody wants to take the effort to complete with currently avvailbel IDs, fine.
