MRP for production version.

Hello all.

Is it possible what MRP does the selection of the production version for the semi-finishings depending on the version of production of the finished product?

<b>Example</b>:

If I plan the <b>Finished Product 1</b> in the <b>version of production "0001",</b> does the mrp create the order drifted for the <b>Semi-finishing 1</b> in the version <b>of production "0001"</b>

however if I plan the <b>Finished Product 1</b> in the <b>version of production "0002"</b>, does the mrp create the order drifted for the <b>Semi-finishing 1</b> in the <b>version of production "0002"</b>

That is possible?

Hi

There is no beating around the bush.

The selection of production version of semi product based on the production version of FG is not possible by MRP.

Finished product & semifinished products wrt to production versions are not dependent.Noway in std SAP.

You may have to go in for customized programe.

Hi,

You can select the production manually when you are creating a production order.

You can maintain this setting in the order type dependent parameters (OPL8).

If you want the selection to be automatic, if both the prod versions are of different lot-sizez (no-overlapping) then this can be done.

If you want to select 0001 for both finished & semi-finished, In the production version if the lot-size for prod version 0001 is 1 to 100 & if the order quantity is 50 then 0001 prod version will be selected.

For 0002 if the lot-size is different 101 to 200 then for order qty of 150 prod version 0002 is selected.
