Link Image to category

Hi SDNers,

I have uploaded an image in repository, it is reflected in data manager and image manager.

Please guide me on how to link it to a category. What are the steps involved?

Gautam,

To link an image to a category you need to first add an images field to the Categories table through the Console. You can then go to the Hierarchy Mode in Data Manager and link the images to the categories.

Hi Gautam,

You can upload images into the data group(in data manager), from there you can assign it to the particular record.

To publish records in a print or Web catalog, you must first define the basic layout elements of an MDM catalog: families.

A family is a group of records which share the same taxonomy category and, optionally, the same value for one or more fields or attributes. Families can be assigned their own images, descriptive text, and other information (called family data). Later in the publishing process, each family can also receive its own custom catalog layout design.
