Hi,

Can any one explain each term eloborately.

Developement Component,Child Dc,Nested DC,Public part,Used dependecys,

Especially more light on Public parts and Used dependencys, Prefferbly with few simple examples.

(any doc exclusively for Developement components)

Hi Ramakrishna,

Usually DC's Comes into picture when there is a very huge project and there are so many modules that do have interdependency and many individuals are working on it.

In this case u need to set up ur JDI structure and you'll maintain a DTR exclusively to store the source code developed by each individual in that..

Now coming to Public parts they are nothing like global variables which r used by more than one individual within a same project so all of them should have access on this parts...

<b>A public part is a list of development objects provided to other development components.</b>

So each individual will check out the code from the common repository may be weekly or daily basis and check it in after his work is done..so tat his work will be reflected in others modules also.
