chart help

I have some raw data from a JCO query shown below

Category Date Qty Var

DepReq 08/25/2007 00:00:00 -1.00 -1.00

Stock 10/27/2007 00:00:00 0.00 -1.00

ProjSt 10/27/2007 00:00:00 0.00 -1.00

PurRqs 12/01/2007 00:00:00 20.00 19.00

DepReq 12/08/2007 00:00:00 -1.00 18.00

PurRqs 12/15/2007 00:00:00 2.00 20.00

PurRqs 07/19/2008 00:00:00 2.00 22.00

DepReq 07/19/2008 00:00:00 -1.00 21.00

I now want this in a stacked bar chart, with Date on the X axis and Qty on the Y axis. However, instead of getting six columns on my chart (one for each distinct date) I only get 3, with each category having it's own x axis values.

I tried using the Time Interpolater, but with no success (didn't return anything).

Going forward I would also like to fill in the blanks, ie. add a column for w/e 11/03/2007, 11/10/2007 etc. and display the Var as a line on the same chart. I would also like to draw the X axis at 0 and force the Y axis to sensible units (just now I get tick marks at -2, 2.8, 7.6, 12.4, 17.2 and 22)

Any help would be much appreciated.
