Regarding Reward points?

Hi All,

i want to know what is this contribution points and another points.

Check this link points what i got in forums.

when i answer any thread,ther i can see only 146 points.

dont send links please explain in detail.

hi Phani,

The points what you seen when you answer someone on left pane is only

other than additional points.

suppose your forum points is 250

and your contribution points are 350 which means, you have earned points by other means also like additional points.

This additional points will be excluded when ever you are in forum discussion (questioning and answering the threads)

Hi Phani,

Here is the recognition program FAQ link, this tells you how you get the points/reward.

Now in your case you got 207 points in wich

From answering questions: 146 (SDN members given to you)

From refering some SDN : 40 (points given by SDN for referance)

From your rewards : 21 (You got this points from SDN for giving points to SDN members)

I guess now you are clear.

Hi Phani,

Contribution Points is the total of all the points that u earn in the SDN.

Always remember that if u raise a question in forum and u award point for the reply you will earn 1 point for yourself.

Note that in the forum it is diaplayed as forum points i.e the points that u have earned by replying/answering to the thread raised by others and it is 146 for U.

So the contribution point is the addition of all the points earned thru forum,blog,wiki,participating in the survey,awarding point to to others,

Phani,

In your "Additional Points" tab you have 41 additional points, which will not be shown when you answer some one.
