In customer master record, Under sales area tab , there is a shipping.

Here we can see the max partial deliveries as 9(MDTY).

If the requirement is 12 partial deliveries , then what has to be done.

Plz tell in detail how the user exits have to be used here ,.

what i have to do along with the ABAPer.or he will customize.

Want steps.

Maximum partial Deliveries: By default it is 9 maximum

The value of this field controls maximum splitting of Sales Order line items.

If we have D in maximum partial delivery field then maximum partial delivery field doesn’t serve any purpose.

Partial Delivery per Item:

[ ] Partial delivery allowed

A Create delivery with quantity > 0

B Create only one delivery also quantity = 0

C Only complete delivery allowed

D No limit to subsequent deliveries

The value of this field unable to split line item into different deliveries

Hi Rajesh

Dont give anything here. Just leave it blank if you want to make more deliveries. By doing so, even after making 9 partial deliveries, from 10th delivery onwards, system will just caution that you have exceeded this control.

Hi Rajesh,

If you enter the value '0' in the max partial deliveries field, it actually represents unlimited no of partial deliveries. There is no requirement to change the field. I have not checked it personally just verify before you go into an ABAP development.
