IPC to VMC

dear gurus,

I know that the concept of IPC has been changed to VMC in crm 5.0.So can we assume that <b>we do not require internet connection</b> to access the pricing conditions as it was earlier for IPC in crm 4.0.please clarify

Hi Ajay,

As you have mentioned IPC is now on CRM ABAP stack sits in VMC container. You can access it via SM52 and SM53

You still need the URL to access the IPC web interface to access the IPC interface to access the downloaded pricing config.

The only difference between IPC 4.0 and IPC 5.0 is the system connection. In 4.0 you need to have separate RFC connection with CRM. In IPC 5.0, you don't need this becasue it is now part of CRM and provide much faster access.
