SD-Pricing

Hi,

In SD Pricing, we have set rounding rule for Cnt.Type. and it is working, but in the net value, it is not getting rounded up.

Hence at the condition type level it is 513.00 ( being rounded up from 512.60)and gets captured thro' sub total setting, whereas in the Net Value it remains as 512.60

Please let me know how this can be resolved so that we have the same values capture everywhere.

Terry.

Hi Terry,

we can also have a new condtion for rounding and have a routine that take care of rounding the price, the controls for new condition type are set as follows Cond. Class = A, Calcualt. type = B and Cond. Category = L.

thanks,

Meyyappan.

New condition alone is not adequate to change the net value. It has to be a posting condition type; only if the rounded difference is 'accounted' as revenue or discount, the netvalue can be rounded off.

Hi Terry,

Try capturing the rounded difference in another condition type (100% condition type calculated on the difference). And give an account key to this similiar to price / discounts. Then net value will also be rounded off. Currently the system does not find the rounded difference in any of the posting condition types (not statistical).

We implemented it as follows:

Added another step in pricing for net value 2, which is a copy of the original net value. We added a round off routine to this step so that net value 2 is always rounded off. Then in a step below this, we added a negative 100% condition type for subtracting this rounded off value from original net value. The difference is captured in another positive 100% condition type which we posted to accounts with ERL a/c key.

Please reward with points if useful.

Cheers,

KC
