Polling interval started. Length: 60.000 s

Hi,

My Interface is from Legacy System to R3. That means FILE to Proxy.

Whenever I will place file in appropriate directory, the file is not pick up.

And in RWB, the status is green and its showing as

History:

- 2007-10-24 03:23:11 GMT: Polling interval started. Length: 60.000 s

- 2007-10-24 03:22:11 GMT: Polling interval started. Length: 60.000 s

- 2007-10-24 03:21:11 GMT: Polling interval started. Length: 60.000 s

- 2007-10-24 03:20:11 GMT: Polling interval started. Length: 60.000 s

- 2007-10-24 03:19:11 GMT: Polling interval started. Length: 60.000 s

The Adapter Status is Active only.

But, its not pick up the files.

When ever, I will Deactivate and Activate the Adapter, then only its pick up the files.

I am facing this problem most frequently.

Could you please suggest any one.

Whats is the exact problem and what we have to do.

what is the mode of the communciation channel?. Test/archive/delete?.

If the mode is archive or delete -> then the xi user should have privilages to write and delete files.

You can also trace the errors by activating trace for the file adapter.

The best way to check this is make the processing mode : Delete..

By this way you can easily check whether your communication channel is working fine or not....

Are you looking the file via FTP client?

i can see here between two polls the difference is of 1 min...,

Ideally you should get message like this in RWB polling with success status of processing..

Hi Nageswari,

Polling interval is set to 60(sixty second) or 60000(sixty thousand) seconds. As it seems to me that poll interval is set to 60000 seconds and in this case file will be picked up after 1000 minutes once the file is picked up for the first time. Reduce the poll interval to less seconds e.g. 60 seconds and activate the adapter and then check. Now the file should be picked up after every 1 minute.

There is no such problem in the scenario. Just make the change and check it.
