Hai ,

i am using ECC 6 with MS sql 2005.

now suddenly transport is throw an error.

the sharing / SAP lock administrator rights are given properly.

i gave the DEV server as domain controller and added PROD server to it.

Now the PROD server is missing ... on seeing the STMS in DEV.

Only DEV is there. In System overview it show DEV only , PROD is missing

But in Transport route it show the PROD as RED color.

then i login in PROD ... it show all system .

now the transport is not done.

how to solve this issue ?

Hi Lee,

I think your from your development server you are unable to access the /usr/sap/trans directory of the production server.

Please check if the sharing of this directory is fine, if its fine, it should be alright. If not than get your OS guy to fix this.

The domain controller should generally host a common /usr/sap/trans , which should be able to accessible to all systems being added in the domain.

Hi,

STMS-->Overview--->System

What it shows? Does it show all the systems?

If it shows all the systems if all are activated?

Add the prod system in the transport domain controller in 000 client and activate.

If earlier it was there and working properly, check the other versions in Display Transpot Route->Configuration-->Get Other versions. It may so happen tht the version has been changed somehow.

No therre wont be any harm.

Do it on Dev as well as on the domain controller.

Shift to a past version .. as manas suggested..

You should be able to get the version number of your transport path from your production system where it is all correct...

shift to that version in domain controller..

Hi Lee,

Delete TMS configuration and reconfigure that is better.
