How to get SAP server Time in Portal

Hi,

We are using Internet Services ( SE80) and code is written in HTML/JavaScript.

If I use Get Time( ), it shows different time then SAP server time ( our SAP server is in US and Portal server is in UK).

Please tell me how can I get the SAP server time.

The Portal Site will be accessed in Intranet and Internet

Hi,

Here is a workaround. Might help

1. Create a transaction and report in R/3 which gives you the time of R/3 system.

2. Create a transaction iView for this transaction in Portal and display it as time.

I agree this is not perfect solution but then you need to write BAPIs and some WD code.

so I guess this solves your problem.
