Error at the time of creating quote

I am trying to create a quotation at that time I am getting the error message "date period 20071022 period D is not valid" please help me on this.

Hi

Please check the settings for 'Date Type' in the configuration of the sales document type QT (or your customised) in the Tcode VOV8.
