Passing Model between Controllers

I have 2 controllers, 2 views and a model. I am taking data from model for displaying in the first view..then in the second view, i need to display the selected record from first page and after modification i need to update table. The data to the second view is passed from second controller.

How can I pass this model from first contoller to second for diaplying in the second view?

Which is the best way ?

1. Make the model a global variable by making it as attribute of the application

class, so that all the controllers can acess it.

2. Create a controller object in the do_reauest of the first controller of type

cl_bsp_controller2 and then use the set_model method of the controller object

to pass the model to the second controller.

Thanks and Regards,

Sunil
