1)can any one knows how system determine movement type

2) what is the movement type of stock transfer order

3) what is the document type we use in the stock transfer order is it Nb or ub

what is the difference between these two

movement types for one step process are 301,301E,301O,301Q,301V,301W.

Two step process movement type 641 for GI and 101 ( in intra STO) will be used

Document type for STO is UB or u can customize ur own document type like ZUB etc.

1.Movement Type is determined from Schedule Line Category assigned in <b>VOV6.</b>

2.In VOV6- <b>Movement type--1</b> step means while posting goods issue in delivering plant , automatically good receipt will be done in receiving plant.

If you are not using 1-step process-- then you have to use 2-step process, i.e movement type 641 for GI and 101 ( in intra STO) will be used.

Movement Type mentioed is for 2 step procedure

3.<b>NB - Intercompany STO.

UB - Intra company.</b>

1.System Determines the Movetype from Shedule Line Category,because we have to maintain the Movement Type there.

For 2,3 and 4 Please see below the Useful Information:

P.O Order types and Delivery Types

STO: - Stock Transfer Order – Intra Company

Stock Transfer between Two Plants with One Company code.

The Purchase Order Type is Used in this case is "UB".

And the Delivery Type Used here is "NL".

Goods Movement type: 641

STPO: - Stock Transfer Purchase Order – Inter Company

Stock Transfer Purchase Orders between Two Plants with Two Different Company Codes.

The Purchase Order Type is Used in this case is "NB".

And the Delivery Type Used here is "NLCC".

Goods Movement type: 643

Movment types are configured in OMJJ or the path is

SPRO--Materials MngtInventory Mngt and Physical Inventory-Movement types----Copy change Movement types.

However movement types are configured by MM consultants and hence any change in movement type should be consulted with MM guys.

Movement types are assigned to Schedule line types in VOV6. Thus based on the schedule line the movement type is triggered during Goods Issue.The movement type in transaction can be seen in Delivery document in "Goods Movement data" tab of the document for the selected item.

The database table is LIPS-BWART for the item number in delivery document.

Hi

1. Movement type calculated from Schedule line category of the slaes order line item.

You can find the Movement type for the schedule line in

VOV6

2. 643 - Intercompany STO two step

645 - Intercompany STO One step

641 - Intracompany STO two step

647 - Intracompany STO one step

3. NB - Intercompany STO.

UB - Intra company STO.
