Unit of measurment in chinese

dear Friends,

I am presently implementing SAP4.7 in china and have an issue in UOM.

Whenever an transaction is done in chinese for materials with UOM as SET, the system issues an error as below:

<b>"Unit of measure SET not defined for language ZH

Message no. 06079

Diagnosis

Table 006A contains no entry for this unit of measure."</b>

what customising to be done to correct this issue?

Hi,

Please follow the path in SPRO and create a new UOM SET copying Each or any other unit

SPRO>SAP Ntweaver>basic setting>check units of measurments>click on UOM(no dimension)>select exsisting EA or any other >copy

Hope this will resolve your issue "dont forget to give technical commercial names"

dear Diwakar,

This is the same venkatesh worked with you in Bristlecone and now in China for implementation.

The above issue was solved by logging into SAP in chinese language and maintain the chinese text for SET.

Now the problem is solved.

But i have a new problem,in this system I have maintained reason code mandatory and when I create service entry sheet and release it then the system says reason code not entered for movement 101 and finally i am unable to save the release.

What is the solution?
