VT11: Restricting on the basis of shipping points?

Hello Gurus,

We have recently decided to expand the load planning functionality to the individual shipping departments. Each are at different shipping points.

I looked at the security objects available to restrict the use. But the only object available in VT11 is the Tranportation planning point.

How are you guys restricting the access by shipping points? The idea is that a shipment planning should be only possible for shipments going out of a particular shipping point. The deliveries for each shipping point are consolidated in a shipment going out of that particular shipping point.

Any ideas?

We have seen the light.

1) We are plannning to re-organize the transportation process to have transportation planning points depending on the shipping points. So essentially different shipping points will have different transportation planning points.

2) This means doing business differently but at least we are sticking to the SAP practices. I am **** tired of Z-SAP modules!!
