material classification datasource - transport ( urgent)

Hi,

I have generated a material classification datasource from T.code CTBW.

since it is client specific -i have mentioned the dev client when creating in Dev.

Now i have to transport it to QA - I changed the client number in QA but how to generate the datasource in QA -i am not able to see a generate button as it is QA environment.

Any help is very much appreciated.

You need to transport the datasource from Dev to QA, you shouldn't need to re-create it in each source system.

When you created the datasource you should have had a transport request pop up and assigned the datasource to that. Check in SE01 that it is there.

Alternatively you can go into CTBW and change the object directory could be $TEMP - change this to your Transport Package and assign this to a transport request.
