BOOKING UNIT (JJB3) & COST CENTER (KS03) PROFIT CENTER ASSIGN. (IS-Media)

Anyone using IS-Media and booking units?

We have a cost center that is assigned under KS03 and JJB3 to different profit centers. However, during the IS-Media postings, SAP reads the profit center from the cost center master data as opposed to the booking unit master data. Is there a way to direct SAP to read the profit center on the booking unit master data as the priority (and not the controlling area)?

More specifically----

Created SO 1000000712 with booking unit TEST which has cost center and profit center assigned.

Master data:

Booking unit has CC: 10001080 and PC: 15008040.

Cost center 10001080 holds profit center 10002165.

When billing the PC is taken from the CC as oppose to the more specific area

Accounting document posts to incorrect profit center, 10002165.

Accounting document should post to specific profit center from booking unit, 15008040.
