Bex Workbook - Pause Automatic/Refresh Query

Hi All,

I have a small doubt with respect to the Bex

In

Query properties - Interaction Tab -Refresh Query when Opening the workbook

Query Settings - Pause Automatic Refresh

If we ticked both the above settings and opened the workbook

Does Refresh Query in Properties overwrites Pause Automatic Refresh settings

Kindly let me know

Hi DPN,

Pause Auto Refresh purely allows you to make a number of Select Filter Value choices on the Free Characteristic block and then when you select Pause Auto Refresh again it makes one retrieval of your multiple selections.

Refresh Query is different altogether. It purely will run the workbook in the form it was last saved when you open the workbook.
