are you still facing the SLD problem mentioend in the parallel post...if not then that can cause the issue......under the BS the IS link what have you maintained?

also go to the IR and IR do the cache check the error there....

your IS link is not correct or might not be present now............

Hi Nisar,

In IR it is showing successfull

but in ID:it giving following error:

<b>Unable to determine the name of the central Adapter Engine from the System Landscape Directory at this time. Notifications to the central Adapter Engine are therefore listed using the technical name of the Adapter Engine. This is usually structured as follows: af.<SAP System ID>.<Name of application server</b>

IN XI BS where do i have to check IS link ( here role is mentioned as application system).

"http://hostname:port/sap/xi/engine?type=entry" should be given as link with port number for your Java egine....

Could you also check the RFC destination

INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI and check whether user used in this RFC is got locked ?

default_host -> sap -> xi.

All services should be active, particularly the services cache and cache_ssl.

Choose default_host -> sap -> bc -> ping (connection test) and then choose Test service

Start the Visual Administrator and check whether Server -> Services ->HTTP Provider is running. If not, start it (by using the context menu).

Choose Server -> Services -> Deploy.

On the Runtime tab page, choose Application and check the status of the entry

sap.com/com.sap.xi.directory.

If the application is not running, select it and then start it by choosing

Start Application on the right hand side.

sap.com/com.sap.xi.directory,

sap.com/com.sap.xi.repository

and sap.com/com.sap.xi.services.

If the application is not running,

select it and then start it by choosing Start Application on the right hand side.

It will definitely solve the issue...
