Extended Memory is 100 % in use on AIX

Hi ,

we are upgraded from R/3 4.6C(OS:Solaris, DB:Oracle 8.1.7) to ECC 6.0

(OS:AIX 5.3, DB:oracle 10.2). upgrade was completed. we are able to

login to new system, once no.of login users exceeds 40 members, dialog

work process are going to PRIV mode(sm50) and performance very poor, in

ST02 extemded memeory is showing 100% usage.We tried to change the

below parameters since extended memory 100% in use but system didn't

up. we reverted to old instance profile then system is running fine.

em/initial_size_MB = 4092

em/max_size_MB = 16384

Old system(Solaris) details.

Physical memory :4GB

New System(AIX, ECC6) details

Physical memory :12GB

Hi,

em/max_size_MB = 16384 is 16 gb and your physical ram is 12 gb. I guess that is the reason for the system not coming up.

What are your current parameter values...
