Can anyone share File-to_file ,file-to-IDOC senarios?if possible with screen shots..
/people/prateek.shah/blog/2005/06/08/introduction-to-idoc-xi-file-scenario-and-complete-walk-through-for-starters - IDoc to File
/people/ravikumar.allampallam/blog/2005/03/14/abap-proxies-in-xiclient-proxy - ABAP Proxy to File
make sure you do the following config for IDOC
R/3
---
1)Create 2 Logical System Name in SALE transaction
2)Assign 1 Logical System Name Created to a Client
3)Create R/3 Connection using transaction sm59 (give all logon details also for XI system here and check it remote logon is working)
4) Create Port as tRFC Port (we20)
5) Create Partner Profile (give the port, RFC dest and Idoc tpye here) (we21)
6)use transaction bd64 for giving distribution model (specify the sender logical system and receiver logical system name)
XI
---
1) Use trxid idx1 to create a port here again
2) Use trxid idx2 for metadata loading..
You can track successful publishing of Idoc in R/3 using we05 or sm59 and in XI using idx5
