error: enter a numeric value

hi all

when i am defining the rates like(2.266%) in withholding tax codes and saving, than the system showing the error that "enter a numeric value". where i will define this. i have check in su01 in decimal notation in user profile and system setting from (,) to (.). and even system showing me this error pl tell me what should i do.

Log out and log on again. Everything should be fine then.

why we log out and than log in the system. what will be the effect on doing this.

Hi,

Open your login id or user id of SAP and go to SU3 and see the default tab the setting is there.

HI KULDEEP,

in wht u r defining rate like(2.266%) where it should be enterd as only 2.266 as % ir take automatically on the amount which u have already configured as base amount. So try without assigning % sign.Revert if facing problem in assigning the same.
