Hi ,

How to identify which SAP NW version we are using. I am comfortable with Visual admin so it would be better if I can find this answer through visual admin, if not let me know from where I can get this info.

Basically I am confused whether we are using SAP NW2004 or NW2004s.

Regards,

Chandan

Hi Chandan;

go to http://<host with fqdn>:5XX00 where XX is the instance number... in the top right hand side of the screen you'll see the engine version... if is 640 is 2004 if its 700 or 710 is 2004s...

Hi,

1) U can go to http://host:port/index.html. Click on System Information. U can check all sys infm here like patch installed.

2) Else u can go to http://host:port/irj/portal. Login.

a) Sys Admin -> Support -> Support Desk -> Version

b) Check the User admin. If it has Identity Management as first tab, then it is 04s.

3) By default, port 50100 goes for 04s and 50000 for 04 in http://host:port
