Dear Gurus

Pls advice me on how to block a plant from any postings as the client needs to close the plant and without severing the link in enterprise structure

Hi John,

If you want to block postings to the plant you can remove the valuation grouping code for that plant from Spro>mm>valuation and a/c ass>account determination>group togethr valuation areas

By htis you will be able to crate Material , po and other master data on that plant but there can not be any postings

Hi Diwaker this is very useful answer and guess fulfills my requirement but is there any other way to stop all transactions for the plant
