updating attributes

Hi experts,

we are on SRM 5.0.can anyone tell me the way to update the atttributes at org unit & position level on mass basis. i want to update the material groups, plants, costcenters etc.

hi,

You can use FM <b>BBP_UPDATE_ATTRIBUTES</b>.You can also use Report RHOMATTRIBUTES_REPLACE for massive replace.

You can use B_UPLOAD_COST_CENTER_ATTRIBUTE for help.

Good way is to define MS Excel file with users and attributes and create own FM to upload these data.

thanks for the info. can you pls send a detail documentation on how to operate the FM update_attribute? i have no idea of operating FMs. please send it to deb_hari@yahoo.com.

do send me the file format for uploading the cost center through the program you mentioned. will it upload the cost centers at the root organisation level ?
