Dear Gurus,
Expertise is required.

Once all despatches done can we carry out the shipments documents at the end of the day.
This will really very helpful to us.
Please extend ur help for this.

Hi Saurabh,
have seen all the replies for this post,
but in my project.
we r currently creating shipment doc's ( VT01n, VT04 ) after doing PGI only.
I guess, there is background config might be there to set up this
before PGI , after PGI.
It depends ,that if the transportation client using is of third party. then after PGI i assume will create Shipment doc's which we r doing currently for our project.
let me know for any inputs,

Saurabh,
Generally process is-
1)VL01N
2)VT01
3)VL02N-PGI
4)VI01
5)ML81N
6)MIRO..
Shipping docs (VT01) are created before PGI...
REWARD IF THIS HELPS...

Hi Saurabh,
You cannot carry out transportation planning or creation of shipment after the goods issue has been executed. Once goods issue is done it means that the material has left your premises so there is no need for a transportation planning after it.
In case you need carry out the shipment documents at the end of the day you could just create the delivery doucments during the day and at end of the day create the shipment documents and the goods issue.

Hi,
you cannot create a shipment document for the delivery whos PGI is been done.
You will have to skip PGI if you want to carry out shipments at the EOD.
