Hi SAP Folks,
I am new to sap world, could any one let me know that can we install
SAP on redhat linux9, if possible on which verions of redhat linux we can install sap software.
Thanks & Regards
Ken
RedHat 9 is similar to RedHat Enterprise Server 2.1. So any SAP system that can run on RH ES or AS 2.1 should be able to run on RedHat 9 (I installed a sandbox system for R/3 4.7 110 on a RedHat 9.0 system so this IS possible).
Note that SAP does not support these systems (you are on your own!).
Hope this info is helpful,

Joe's answer pretty much sums it up all right. SAP software will run on a variety of platforms, our testdrive version of NetWeaver 7.0 was successfully installed on Gentoo.
You can give this a try for demo purposes, going for a version that has a certified equivalent (OpenSuse 10.1 and Fedora Core or CentOS:-) is a pretty safe bet.
When it comes to production or even development and QA/Consolidation SAP systems, don't take the risk of limited liability and go for SAP certified OS versions.

Hi,
I am using SAP Netweaver 04 DEMO on SuSE Enterprise Server 9.
You can consider using it. It is free for evaluation.
Check details on Novell page:

You can also try with OpenSuSE 9 avaliable here:
http://iso.linuxquestions.org/suse/suse-9.3-professional/
(some mirrors might not work but for Romania it worked).
I have not tried with Redhat. I used this distribution years ago and also tried Fedora. When I started with SuSE 10.1 I realized I like it more (e.g YaST), so maybe you can try as well.

Rafal
