Microsoft Excel view in ALV report

Hello Gurus,

In the standard SAP tcode ME5A, I can get the result in an ALV grid form after I give my selections and execute. The problem is when i click the microsoft excel view application button, I am not seeing the results in the excel sheet instead its opening a blank excel sheet. Can you help me out to see the results in the excel sheet. Do i need to change any settings?.

I think this may be caused by your Excel settings.

In Excel go to Tools->Macro->Security and set it to medium.

Goto EXCEL File ->Tools->macro->security->click trusted sources .

here check the visual basic project.

Now run your transaction.
