Hi,
APO key figures can be used if we want to fix a value. I am wondering why do we need to have a APO characteristic? What is the use of it? I guess the 9AMATNR and 9ALOCNO to be associated with SCM master data. But wondering what might be the use of APO characteristic?
Thanks.
In DP context, APO characteristic define the level where APO Key figures are stored, evaluated and managed. They define the unique dimension/parameter along which one would want to manage and evaluate this Key figure data. It helps you to build a structure/heirarchy to slice and dice the data.(maintained in POS) IN SNP context, these characteristics are fixed and hence is a little rigid.
