VC does not work

I have installed a "permanent" version of CE (from our sap share drive) and after creating a VC model and tried to drag and drop different elements (table view, Form View, etc) under the Compose Model tab, I get the following errors:

1) "Failed to layout shape (s): 'elmBoard.board.boardObj' is null or not an object"

2) "Failed to layout Unit: 'elemBoard.boardObj' is null or not an object"

3) "Failed to send signal to the board : 'elmBoard.boardObj.onsignal' is null or not an object"

The portal works fine, Guided Procedure too. The problem is just VC.

Hello Diego,

Can you confirm that you have installed the Adobe SVG viewer and the msxml parser. Seems to me like a parser problem

Thank you both. I just installed SVG viewer (I did not have to install msxml parser) and VC is working now.

No, I have not installed any of those components. Why should I? VC should work without them.

Hi Diego,

Abdul is correct. The documentation clearly states that the SVG viewer and msxml parser are required to run Visual Composer. See here for more info: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce10/helpdata/en/5a/ce36945e8d4f99b1e1ade2fa27657c/frameset.htm
