Background Jobs in Runtime workbench ?

Hi All,

we are using SAPXI 3.0 SP19.. In RWB in adapter engine I can see background job tab. On clicking it, it show two jobs .. one delete and one archive job. what is the functionality of these job..especially recover job... does it archive adapter engine messages?

Hi Ranjeet ,

asynchronous messages are stored in the Integration Server.

So by time your table-space gets less. So you have to delete the messages. This is done by a delete job. On the other hand you want to archive messages. This is done by a archiving job.

Both - deletion and archiving - have to be customized
