Service Type of a Service Call

Hi All,

I am trying to do a small exercise from the SAP teched Webdynpro workshop.

When I try to add a Service Call , then on the third step I see only one possibility of Service Type. I see only "Function Module"Radio button, whereas in the session we could also add "Class Method" .....

May I please know what can I do in this situation ?

I think this is because of the SP level you're at.

In here I'm on SP10 and the same happens (only function module option available), while on the SP12 sneak preview additional options do appear.

Someone else may confirm this.

May I know how to set SP levels then? By an upgrade or something?

I am using Netweaver 7.0 at the moment....

The Basis people takes care of SP updates, ask them.

You can see at which level you're at under menu System -> Status... -> SAP System Data -> Magnifier icon -> Check Level column for SAP Basis Component.

Hi Mukta,

I am also getting all the 3 options in the 3rd step

function module

class method

web service

I wonder why you are not able to get them. May be you are using old versiion.
