XI Central Alert Server

Hi,

I want to maintain RFC destation in SRM system to XI the central alert server. Does anyone have any idea on XI cenral alert server ? where do I find the details of XI central alert server to maintain RFC destination ? Also whta type of RFC destination do I need to mainatin (R/3, TCP/IP...) ?

Please let me know if you have any ideas on this...

Thanks for the response...

Basically I am trying to trigger an alert in SRM system and send it to XI central alert server so that it will be avilable in alert inbox of XI. As per help.sap.com it says maintain RFC destination in SRM pointing XI central alert server. But I am not sure as to how to get XI central alert server details for maintaining the RFc destination.

if you're talking about "Monitoring Multiple Systems"

then the RFC has to be "type R/3" :
