employee subgroup

Hi Experts !

i need to create new employee subgroup .

will anybody tell me asignments needed. e.g to payroll , time management , assignement of payroll to FI Module .plz help.

Hi Ranjna

For copying an existing employee subgroup use transaction EC12. To change assignments (groupings) have a look at the views on table T503 (V_503_ALL,...) via transaction SM31.

Employee subgroups can used for decisions in payroll and time management directly as well. Check the concerned schemas as well.

There are other settings that might be effected by your subgroups (like features...). So these are just basic settings. You might check what is effected by the new employee subgroup as well.

Creating an emp grp is simple..

But the issues invloved after creating also needs to be considered..

They should be included in payroll... Hence Necessary groupings shld be done, If any specifc wage types to be copied..??, If any new work schedule rules and abs types, quotas, attendances, any emg grp specific Personnel Actions..??,
