GL ACCOUNT BLOCKED

Hi gurus,

When i give the posting the GRN ,The following error appear

G/L ACCOUNT BLOCKED FOR POSTING IN COMPANY CODE.

Pls help me

Hi Muruga,

Please go to the Tcode FS00 and enter the G/L account No. and the company code click on the "lock symbol"

u can see check box for "blocked for posting" under the block in company code ,remove the tick and save it.

Usually this authorisation wont be there for the MM person, if u dont have ask the FI person to do it

Hai,

Hope, if you are doing GR against PO, then GL accts for inventory and GR/IR acct is blocked means go to TCode FS00, then unblock the GL account by selecting the lock next to copy button for the particular GL accts.It will clarify your doubts.

Go to T.Code:FS00

Enter the GL account number

go to change mode

Pls check the whether GL account is blocked(LOCK icon ) are not

If the block the GL account deflag the blocked button

<b>/NFS00</b>>><b>G/L ACCOUNT</b>>><b>COMPANY CODE</b>>>GOTO <b>CHANGE</b> MODE>>JUST LITLE BESIDE THE <b>CHANGE ICON</b> THERE IS <b>BLOCK ICON</b>>><b>CLICK</b> IT>>REMOVE THE <b>TICK</b> MARK BESIDE <b>BLOCKED FOR POSTING</b>>><b>ENTER</b>>><b>SAVE</b>.

THIS WILL SOLVE UR PROBLEM.
