can anybody tell me in detail what the configuration we have to do in MRP.

Dear Avi raina,

MD01 for a full run by plant

MD02 and MD03 to run MRP for one material

MD01 - MRP Run

MD02 - MRP - Single-item, Multi-level

MD03 - MRP-Individual Planning-Single Level

MD04 - Display Stock/Requirements Situation

MD05 - Individual Display Of MRP List

MD06 - Collective Display Of MRP List

MD21 - Display Planning File Entry

The mandatory fields you need maintain are all MRP views in material master with valid MRP type normally "PD".

You can run MRP from

MD03 (for single item)

MD02 ( for complete BOM)

MD01 and MDBT (at plant level).

The control parameters should be:

Processing key: NETCH

Create PR/PO: 1

Create schedule lines: 3

create MRP list: 1

planning mode: either 1 or 3

Scheduling: 1

In process parameters do not check "simulation mode"

HI,

The important thing is that

first u need to activate MRP for the plant in the tcode OMDU

then u need to Carry Out Overall Maintenance of Plant Parameters in the tcode OMI8

then u need to carry out Carry Out Overall Maintenance of MRP Groups in OPPZ .

then u need to have activate MRP view in material master for that plant.

enter the mrp type andd enter the details for the selected MRP type.

u can run mrp using Total Planning (MD01)

or MD03 - Single-Item, Single-Level

Hi,

Master data in MRP.

Mrp type

lot size

schedule margin key.

mrp controller.

strategy group in mrp 3 view.

In spro for plant MRP should be active.

you need to define the plant parameters in OPPQ.

you need to define the control parameters for MRP group in OPPR.
